Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Weeeeek, provided by Alone.Plus, handles information. The app and its pages on alone.plus have different data flows, explained below.

1. Information Used by the App

Weeeeek processes information on your device to provide weekly planning and focus features:

Task titles, notes, dates, status, priority, start times, reminder settings, and task identifiers
Focus session duration, start/end times, session status, and completion history
Preferences such as theme, accent color, week start day, time format, swipe actions, and the iCloud sync setting
Daily and weekly task counts, completion progress, focus minutes, and the next task title for widgets
Task/session identifiers and timing information used for local notifications, Live Activities, and opening the relevant screen

Core features require no Alone.Plus account. The app does not send task content or focus history to Alone.Plus servers and contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDK. We do not sell your personal information or use your task content for advertising or cross-app tracking.

2. Local Storage and Optional iCloud Sync

Tasks and focus history are stored locally. The app and its widget/Live Activity extension use an on-device shared App Group container for widget snapshots, active focus state, and related settings. This sharing between Weeeeek components is not a public upload.

If you enable iCloud sync, the app checks iCloud availability and synchronizes task data, including associated focus history, through your Apple account's private CloudKit database. Alone.Plus does not operate a separate server containing these records or have dashboard access to your private CloudKit content. Apple operates iCloud under its own policies. Sync availability and timing depend on your account, storage, network, and device conditions.

Turning sync off stops this device's future sync activity; it does not delete local data or existing iCloud copies. Local data may also be included in device backups according to your Apple backup settings, independently of the in-app sync switch.

3. Permissions and System Surfaces

Notification permission is used for local task and focus reminders. Live Activities display focus progress on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Widgets may display task progress and a task title on system surfaces. These displays can be visible to others near your device; use iOS notification preview, widget, and Live Activity settings to control them.

You can disable notifications or Live Activities in iOS Settings and remove widgets. Weeeeek does not request access to your photos, camera, microphone, contacts, or location for its current features.

4. Purchases and Apple Services

The optional “Support the Developer” purchase is processed by Apple through StoreKit. The app uses product information and verified purchase/entitlement status to show and restore your support status. We do not receive your payment card details.

Apple may process purchase, download, sync, and diagnostic information under its own policies and your system settings. See the Apple Privacy Policy.

5. Website Visits and Support

Visiting alone.plus is separate from using the app. The production website may load Google Analytics, using cookies or similar identifiers to measure page visits, interactions, sessions, browser/device information, and approximate location. Hosting providers also process connection information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website. Website analytics does not receive your in-app tasks or focus history. Google processes analytics data under its Privacy Policy. The site also stores your language choice in a cookie and your theme preference in browser local storage. You can manage cookies and site data in your browser.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send, such as an issue description or screenshots. We use this information to respond and resolve the request. Please omit task content and other sensitive information unless needed for support. Support email and website information may be handled by their service providers, or disclosed where required by law; this does not give us access to your private app database.

6. Retention, Deletion, and Your Choices

Tasks moved to the trash remain available for restoration. Permanently deleting a task from the trash removes the task and its associated focus history from the app's task store.
With sync enabled, deletions propagate through iCloud when devices can sync. Minimal deletion identifiers and timestamps may remain to prevent deleted tasks from reappearing; these markers do not retain the task's title or notes. Offline copies and backups are not erased instantly.
Deleting the app does not by itself erase iCloud data, other-device copies, Apple purchase records, or existing backups. “Offload App” also preserves app documents. Manage iCloud storage and device backups separately in Apple settings.
Local content is retained until you delete it or the relevant storage is removed. Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle your request and any applicable legal obligations; you can request its deletion. Website data is subject to the relevant provider's retention settings and policies.

You can view and correct tasks in the app and control optional sync and system permissions. For personal information you have sent directly to us, contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, or exercise other applicable privacy rights. We cannot retrieve or remotely erase records stored only on your device or in your private iCloud database on your behalf.

7. Children and Changes to This Policy

Weeeeek does not request an age or account registration. Minors should use purchases and contact support with a parent or guardian's guidance where required by law. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information can contact us for assistance or deletion.

We will publish material policy changes here with an updated date. We will obtain consent where required before using information for a new purpose.
