Precious Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 10, 2026

This policy applies to Precious and related pages on alone.plus. Precious helps you quickly save cherished objects and show them quietly through iOS widgets.

Data We Process

Precious may store the following on your device or in your own Apple iCloud private database:

  • Object names, notes, ordering, and timestamps you create
  • Object images you import or capture
  • Thumbnails, subject images, and other derived image resources used for display
  • Widget display preferences, such as selected items, random display mode, and widget background choices

If you contact us by email, we use your email address, message content, and any diagnostic details you provide to handle your request.

How Data Is Stored

Precious does not require an alone.plus account and does not upload your object records or images to alone.plus servers.

The app uses Apple local storage, App Group storage, and private iCloud capabilities to support sharing data between the app and its widget, as well as user-controlled sync. Your object records and image resources are handled by your device and Apple iCloud. Apple's own policies apply to Apple services.

Photos, Camera, and Files

Precious accesses your camera, photos, or files only after you grant permission or actively choose content. Imported images are used to create object records, generate thumbnails, generate subject images, and display content in the app and widget.

Image processing, including thumbnail generation and system subject recognition/cutout features, happens on device. alone.plus does not receive your photo content.

Widget Data

Precious widgets read saved object records, thumbnails, subject images, and display preferences from App Group storage. Widgets do not send this data to alone.plus.

Third-Party Services

Precious is distributed and updated through the Apple App Store. Apple may process download, purchase, crash diagnostic, or system analytics data under its own policies.

Precious currently does not include an alone.plus account system, advertising network, or third-party analytics SDK.

Deleting Data

You can delete object records and images in the app. You may also remove related data by uninstalling the app, disabling iCloud sync, or managing iCloud data in system settings. The exact deletion scope may depend on iOS, iCloud, and backup settings.

If you contacted us by email, you may request deletion of support-related email records; we will handle such requests where reasonably possible.

Children's Privacy

Precious is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Policy Updates

If Precious materially changes how it handles data, we will update this page and revise the effective date.
